Library and Museum Photos

Hi guys, was a great visit to the library and museum today. It was a bonus getting a new drink bottle as well! Thanks to Maire, Jill, Maria, Kathy, Kim, Delia, Annette and Tracey who made it possible by providing transport. I have a few more photos of the day but enjoy these for now.  Let me know what you think.  Did you see we have almost made it to 2000 views of our blog. Wow - four more prize winners in Room One! Big congratulations to Emily, Holly, Preston and Blake who all received a bundle of prizes today for their writing. Makes all that hard work worthwhile doesn't it!! Keep up the great work. Your writing will be published in the June/July Upstart Mag. We will have this in our class shortly and it can also be purchased in local bookshops/supermarkets.

The All Blacks vs France

The whistle blew.France kicked off.We were relived that we were in the All Blacks team for 2011 rugby world cup campaign. “ Penalty”, Yells the Ref. Ball did not go ten meters. “ Kick for the sideline” says Blake. “ Man you are dumb said Preston because the kick was in centre feild. Anyway France got the ball, Jake was sprinting down the sideline, When he side stepped Preston but Blake speared tackled him. Blake passed it to Preston, he flew down the sideline and dummed it to Blake and Preston scored. “ Full time’’ called the ref . The score was 5-0. The All Blacks had got victory. The fans cheered

Willow Hut Photos

Over the last two weeks we learnt how to make a hut from willow branches. Thanks to Maire her designer friend Michelle and Kim for all the help they gave us. We can't wait until spring comes and the willow sprouts to cover our hut in leaves.
