Blog Presentation - Mrs Phelps

Hi guys, I am sitting at home and reading all the blogs you put up today. It is a great way for me to hear about what you have been up to over the weekend and how your learning is going for you at school.
Just a wee reminder about presentation though. Remember to check that you have included all full-stops, capital letters and checked your spelling before you press that publish button! In other words - proof-read please. If you notice you have made an error after you have published it is possible to go back and edit your work. I can show you how at school tomorrow. Also in regards to comments please remember to say something about the story/writing/picture that gives your reader a little more information than just cool! Tell them what you think is cool! Multiplication - Congratulations!

Well done to those of you who have made noticeable progress in the timed 2 minute multiplication test on Friday. I was really impressed! Big congratulations to Jack who moved his score up by a massive 25 to score 50/50. He now joins Emily, Joseph, Cavan and Preston who are also sitting on 50/50.
Lydia and Matthew you both made the next biggest increases to score 20 more points with Jodie close behind with 19 more correct. Brayden, Stacey and Nikita all scored 17 more. Josephine you can be pleased with achieving 16 more correct. Blake and Rhiannon a score of 13 more. There are a couple of no name sheets so I can't tell yet what the progress is for those students.
Year 6 students you are aiming to score a minimum of 48/50 correct and Year 5s 42/50.
Keep on learning and see what progress you can make in another 6 weeks!

Writer's Group

Hi guys. Just a reminder to those students who have writing to take to Reap House this week that you need to have it ready and on a memory stick. You can either email this to me michelle@kaniere.schoolzone.net.nz or bring it to school on a memory stick. If you need time at school to complete your story please let me know.
